Right, im going to take you through the time cycle of BTILC and show you how i think that Jack and Wang get no sleep at all!

Day 1: Jack Returns to San Francisco for some Gambling in Chinatown, he has no sleep all night.
Day 2: Jack and Wang go to the airport, lose Miao Yin to the Lords of Death and go to the alley. They lose Jack's Truck in the confusion and run away back to Wang's Resteraunt. Later on, it is still the same day, and presumably, Jack and Wang have got no sleep. They then go to the White Tiger's, then to Gracie's, then to the Wing Kong Exchange. They are captured, escape, rescue Gracie and Margot, and leave. At this point it is the next day.
Day 3: Plans are made at the resteraunt, then they go to Egg's warehouse, then to the Wing Kong Exchange again. At this point, Jack and Wang have gone 2/3 days without sleep, so by now they must be collapsing, but this is not apparent. From here on in they take the 6 demon bag, and are revived, so sleep is no longer a worry.

But how do Jack and Wang survive through all that action with no sleep?
It would kill them!

Human beings are marvelous creatures.
There's this little thing called 'Adrenaline' that makes it possible to endure a whole lot more than you'd think.
Plus... there are always the catnaps that you don't see. ;D

There are people who've done the whole 'stay awake for 2-3 days' thing before. they usually end up hallucinating and loopy by the end of it. (Jack forgot where he put his spare key-- probably meant that he was past exhausted at that point, and not just dim. ;>)
Probably about 24+ hours between the truck screaming out of the Wing Kong building, and the final party scene where everybody catches up.

It's not really fun to watch someone sleep-- at least not without the shaving cream and feather prank, so they left that bit out-- along with the bits where they stopped in the bathroom to take a leak. After drinking that much beer...

Anyhow. Very Happy

The TV show 24 seemed a little crazy to me at first but by the third season I got used to it. It probably keeps you awake if people are always trying to kick your a** or blow you up.
