To answer about a 4K for The Fog. StudioCanal overseas is the one that did it and not MGM who has it in North America region A. StudioCanal did the same for Escape from New York and They Live 4K.
Jack Burton : Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen : Wind, fire, a 4K release of this movie, all that kind of thing!

New news on it so far. Multiple choices. Regular case CE or the Steelbook. Plus set of either with vinyl record. Or both regular case & Steelbook with the vinyl.

With a vinyl record? That's hilarious and awesome. Glad this film is getting some hardcore love.
What? No 8-track? The Pork Chop Express would only have 8-track.
Why bluray and not 4k bluray ? We already have bluray and vinyl.
Wrestling is not fake, People are fake
Unfortunately because Fox themselves don't want to do a 4K release. Also Scream didn't get 4K rights to do a 4k release. The record is brought to Scream by Sacred Bones with a new track on side B. Who also sells this set in purple instead of the Scream exclusive green.
Now that Di$ney owns Fox and subsequently Big Trouble, I have no doubt that there will be a 4K release forthcoming. Probably in time for the eventual remake, which seems to be Di$ney's MO for the time being.
Yeah, Disney knows how to get that money. Hopefully 4K soon.
As much as I want 4K like you guys. It would probably be a few more years since they just got Fox and have only released regular Blu-Ray's of a few Fox movies. Like they did with Willow. But that was long out of print.
The only one assured to happen in 4K is of course Star Wars before anything else. Which I heard a rumor they might next year. Also people wishing and I hope the original instead of just the SE's.
I'm sure Disney has some underpaid drone working on a 4K release of every film Fox has ever done. They may go blind in the process, but Disney wants their money. Now.
Sorry for the long post. Help if you know how to spoiler part of it.
