I think the BTiLC comics were fairly successful for BOOM studios. It's put me in the mind that, rather than a live action film with alternate actors, a quality series of animated films would be a very cool idea. KR & co. could voice the characters and its 1986 all over again.

While Pixar makes fine films, I don't think they'd be right to bring Jack & co. back to life. Hand drawn animation is required I think.
Hand drawn? I don't know if that's even a thing anymore. I'd be happy with the CGI stuff, but I miss the hand drawn. Wish that was still more of a thing. That new Spiderverse movie looks kinda hand drawn. But I think it's still CGI.
Well, as long as everyone looked realish and not soft and rounded with only three digits or some shit, CGI would be fine.
